Post-Treatment Care

Congratulations on completing your session! In order to maximize your results and help maintain them, we recommend following these post-treatment care instructions:

FACIALS & CHEMICAL PEELS

For best results, please follow these post-procedure tips for at least 7 days after receiving treatment:

  • Stay as cool as possible. Overheating internally can cause hyperpigmentation.

  • Do not put the treated area directly into a hot shower spray.

  • Do not use tanning beds, hot tubs, steam rooms, or saunas.

  • Do not participate in activities that would cause excessive perspiration.

  • Do not use loofahs or other means of mechanical exfoliation.

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure and do not direct a hair dryer onto the treated area.

  • Do not apply ice or ice water to the treated area.

  • To minimize side effects and maximize results, use the Post-Treatment Kit for three to five days or until flaking has resolved.

  • Delay your use of AHA & BHA. Please consult your physician before temporarily discontinuing use of any prescription medication.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Peeling / Flaking: You should not necessarily expect to “peel”. However, light flaking in a few localized areas for several days is typical.

Redness: Most patients who undergo these treatments have residual redness for approximately 1 to 12 hours post-procedure.

Tightness: If the skin feels tight, apply moisturizer as needed. For maximum hydration, you can apply Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum.

Results: Expect gradual, cumulative changes after each session, with your skin returning to its baseline soon after, necessitating multiple sessions to achieve and maintain your desired results.

BODY CONTOURING

Hydration: It is recommended to drink at least 2 liters of water each day for 2-3 days after the session to help boost lymphatic drainage and eliminate toxins from the body.

No Alcohol or Caffeine: It is important to avoid alcohol and caffeine for at least 24 hours after the appointment, as they can dehydrate the body and negatively affect the lymphatic drainage process.

Sun Protection: Direct sun exposure on the treated area should be avoided for the next 2 days after the treatment to prevent potential irritation or discoloration.

Healthy Eating: Making an effort to eat healthier foods after the session is recommended. It is important to avoid high-fat, high-sugar, or processed foods that can contribute to the accumulation of new fat cells.

Light Eating: It is recommended to eat light for the entire day to help the body focus on eliminating the treated fat cells.

Exercise: Committing to working out the muscle groups or areas that will be targeted during the session is recommended. It is suggested to have at least 3 workouts per week to help tone and tighten the body.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Increased Urination: You may notice an increase in urination after the treatment. This is your body's way of eliminating excess fluids and toxins that were mobilized during the session.

Redness or Bruising: Most patients who undergo these treatments have residual redness or bruising for approximately 1 to 12 hours post-procedure.

Results: Expect gradual, cumulative changes after each session, with your body returning to its baseline soon after, necessitating multiple sessions to achieve and maintain your desired results.
